Dear Parents,
At MRR Global Core School, we believe that a child’s progress should not be measured only through marks and grades.
Therefore, for Nursery to Grade V, we follow a Standards-Based Assessment system. Students are assessed based on their overall learning and development in the following skills:
- Listening Skill
- Speaking Skill
- Reading Skill
- Writing Skill
- Learning Skill
The performance levels are:
1. Exceeds Standard – The student is performing above the expected level.
2. Meets Standard – The student is performing at the expected level.
3. Approaches Standard – The student is close to the expected level and needs further practice and support.
4. Introductory Standard – The student is at the beginning stage of learning and requires continuous guidance and practice.
This system helps us understand each child’s actual learning progress, strengths, and areas that need improvement, rather than focusing only on marks.
We request parents to support their children regularly in developing their listening, speaking, reading, writing, and learning skills.
